Muttenz, Switzerland, with Oliver Brandenberger

EXTENSION OF RESIDENCE

ARCHITECTURE AWARD 2009 + BEST ARCHITECTS 13

The resident moves from the breakthrough of the old building over the new levels and approaches the garden.

The detached house built in 1927 near Muttenz’s village core gets a new generosity by a living space expansion in the ground floor.

The entrance hall in dark brownish black with silver sprinkles plays with the exterior color of the extension and contrasts with the white interior spaces. The guarderobe furniture is integrated in the built-in units.
